Sample Rubric:

1) The student is unwilling or unable to present results of or from an inquiry task.
2) The student presents results from an inquiry/research project but does not use an appropriate mode of delivery.
3) The student uses an appropriate mode of delivery to present results from an inquiry/research project with support and prompting from an adult.
4) The student uses an appropriate mode of delivery to present results from an inquiry/research project.

Note:
This skill requires extensive modeling by the teacher and should be introduced and practiced as a whole class activity. Therefore, demonstrated proficiency of this skill is expected toward the end of kindergarten.

A multimodal text involves strategic integration of two or more modes of communication including written and spoken texts, images, gestures, music, digital texts and media, and live performances.
